TECHNIKER/IN VERKÄUFER/IN (ACTIVE SAFETY)
ACTIVE SAFETY is the division of TROAX that prevents accidents when physical barriers are not suitable, employing advanced technologies to proactively detect and address potential hazards in real-time, creating an innovative catalogue of security solutions.
We are currently seeking a sales technician for TROAX – ACTIVE SAFETY solutions in Germany to join our team. You will be responsible for supporting our sales force by actively selling our solutions within Active Safety. Your primary goal will be to present and promote our solutions, understand customer needs, propose suitable solutions, and negotiate contracts. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the existing database of contacts for current and potential customers of Troax Germany to introduce our ACTIVE SAFETY solutions.
- Gain a thorough understanding of each customer's specific requirements, conduct in-depth studies, and propose the most suitable solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive offers, deliver persuasive presentations, and negotiate contracts with customers.
- Liaise with the headquarter of ACTIVE SAFETY division to coordinate equipment preparation and ensure timely supply.
- Maintain regular communication (at a general level) with local assemblers and technicians, providing instructions on project implementation.
- Foster relationships with resellers and forklift brands, ensuring effective collaboration and leveraging partnership opportunities.
- Provide training and knowledge on Active Safety solutions to salespeople, enabling them to identify business prospects and contribute to expanding commercial activities.
- Define and coordinate local technical support in Germany, including installation, start-up, and subsequent SAT (both locally and with Claitec headquarters).
- Capitalize on the contacts within the Troax Germany team, encouraging colleagues to keep you informed on potential business opportunities and facilitate access to the right potential clients.
Requirements:
- Technical sales experience, preferably in the industrial and logistics sectors.
- Strong background in commercial and technical disciplines, with knowledge of electrical or electronic systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in German and English.
- Genuine interest in the industrial sector, demonstrating a passion for innovation and safety solutions.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Technical aptitude and problem-solving abilities to address customer requirements effectively.
- Confidence and resilience to engage with industrial managers independently.
